Randy's a solid draw like GSP but he's no Chuck or Tito or even Brock

For a weak card it did well.
That's slightly contradictory; he's an overrated draw and no Chuck, example being he didn't draw numbers when he fought Chuck

I'm not sure the whole weak card thing has much substance in the grand scheme of things. If you consider how many casual fans there must be out there that just see Lesnar vs Couture as the only fight of the night. That boxing mentality must be rife, it is from my experience anyway.

Whenever someone said to me 'you watching the big monster fighting this Saturday?' I would say yeah and keep an eye out for Demian Maia

Being a big draw doesn't mean everyfight you are in is a big draw and Liddell has done huge numbers with other fighters but not with Randy.

I predicted 700k, these numbers are great. With numbers like these we are going to see a lot more of Lesnar than he would probably like. You have to give some of the credit for these numbers to Randy as well, if Lesnar was fighting Eddie Sanchez it would NOT have drawn over 500k.

I read (don't know if it was on here) Pavlik vs. Hopkins did about 195k, which isn't too great for one of Boxings biggest fights of the year. It will be interesting to see how many Pacman/DLH gets.

So this is a nice result for UFC IMO.
Pacman/DLH will have really good numbers, prolly just under what DLH Vs Mayweather did.

The numbers are descent, Shaw Cable in Calgary sold 35,000 buys, the highest ever buy rate for a UFC event just surpassing UFC 83 GSP Vs Serra II.
