Im sure it has happened a bunch of times but I know Sakaraba did it to him in Pride...then Royce let go, and went on to loose the match. I think its kinda cheap, but if I were Royce in the situation and had the respect for Sakaraba that I would have in the situation, I would let him go too if I felt tapping starting...wouldnt think twice. Then he got screwed. Kinda homo in my opinion.

you cant really say that because people back then werent very well rounded and matt hughes other than lacking a bit in stand up is pretty well rounded but if he fought back then he wouldnt have had the knowledge he has today and would probably be just a wrestler do you kinda get what im saying? like he wouldnt know how to defend BJJ like he does today
