Worst ground game in the UFC

Lets play a little game, who do you all think has the worst ground game in the UFC. So bad its painfull to watch lol.

I nominate Houston Alexander, being bored with some time to kill I decided to rewatch his fight with Erik the red and couldnt help but laugh at how bad Houstons ground game is. I dont even practice MMA and I boldly think i could do a tiny bit better His legs just seem to flop around limply, not using them whatsoever! I really dont even think he put any effort into his ground game because there was NOTHING and Erik is a black belt I believe.

Lets have a laugh, post up your worst ground gamers!

you also get to see some of the best illegal knee's ever thrown IMO

As soon as I saw this thread, I immediately thought of Houston. Besides him, Heath Herring is probably up there even if he did stuff one of Brock's take downs.

Schafer is indeed a black belt in BJJ, however i still 2nd the motion for Houston "The Turtle" Alexander.

There is only one equal to Houstons not-so-solid ground game, and he's not in the UFC (Kimbo)

Herring actually has a pretty good ground game (defense wise). It's extremely difficult to finish the guy as he's so damn squirmy. His wrestling sucks, but his ground game isn't nearly as bad as alot of people in UFC.

I'll go with either Hardonk, or Houston

you can't really nominate houston for worst ground game because he has no ground game, imo. purposely letting someone posture up in your guard or spinning into armbars time and time again would qualify as a bad ground game in my mind but my definition may be skewed.

This is completely true, I based my opinion on the fact that he seems to be taken down at will most of the time, but the fact is he rarely does lose when he's on the ground. Thanks Plazz.
