Machida/Silva -outcome poll-

I'm sure this was done when this fight was first booked but I couldn't find it, though I only went 10 pages back.

Either way, here you go.

I voted Silva by KO, I think he is a much more exciting fighter. All four of his fights have been by stoppage.

Lyoto 4 out 5, by judges.

EDIT- I'm referring to UFC fights before anyone corrects me

I think it will go to Machida by decision because of his cheap evasive tactics. That and the judges don't ever not give him the win, no matter how boring the fight.

I pray to christ its Silva. I can't stand the thought of Machida getting a title shot.

Cheap evasive tactics? You mean moving so he doesn't get hit? And the judges always give him the win because he wins, whether you think it's boring or not.

C'mon it is boring. Who wants to see Machida run away the entire fight. It does work for him but who the hell actually wants to watch that? I guarantee at least a couple people agree.

Machida more than likely by deision. He will repeatedly hit Silva who will not be able to hit him back and will fail to take him down

I don't ever see him turn his back to his opponent and run. He doesn't get hit is what he is doing. By avoiding getting hit, he is keeping from being rocked or eventually taken down. Not a bad tactic if you want to win and I'm sure that's what each and every UFC fighter is trying to do. It's not like he doesn't put the pressure on opponents. Did he not go ape on Heath when he threw all those knees? Did he not go in for the kill on Sokky when he rocked him? Did he not go in for the kill on Tito when he knocked him down with that viscious knee? I mean holy shit, he threw some sick kicks in that fight. Total ninja stuff.

I rather enjoy watching defensive strikers fight.
