I rather see Rampage Vs Thiago and Wanderlei vs Henderson (an actual rubber match).

Well what do you except, after cutting so many fighters, we should expect more of those.
I agree that Silva vs Rampage 3 is a bit too much, but not because of the so easy outcome that will happen, but simply because the climax of that rivalry ended in Pride already.
As for his 'standup-o-rama' fight, he can always go watch the fight again. Working for sherdog doesnt make him right in everything he says. Once rampage had him down, the ref yelled 'action' probably every 10 seconds, but he never stood them up until 5 mins passed in both mins(or close to that).
The real big difference is the cage and the elbows, nothing else when it comes to rules(maybe knees to the head i guess).

rampage/thiago would be far too short of a fight whichever way it ends.

Rossen is usually one of the better writers over there, but the jist of this article is that these rematches constitute a betrayal of the fans or something? We are being treated to some of the most interesting matchups possible in the coming months, and have been for more than a year now... there are players missing in the roster, sure, but this is no more than a poorly sourced attempt to slap up an article (and pander to the anti UFC machine lurking in the shallows of the credentialess Sherdog cesspool) after a lazy turkey weekend. Full of rumors, with one outstanding point of fact... a fight most people are looking forward to at this stage in their respective careers at best, and an altered-dynamic version of the preludes at worst; Wand v Page III.

"Increasingly, things aren’t looking too different in the cage. After beefing up its roster with international talent and surprisingly adept “Ultimate Fighter”-bred participants, the UFC has returned to the photocopy machine, signing or reportedly considering matches that have already been definitively decided on multiple occasions."

But hey, at least Sherdog finally gives Griffen his due in this poor reversal of opinion pertaining to his winning of the belt (or in their eyes previous... his theft of it when Rampage's back was turned or something.)... put down the hateraid, Rossen. Dude used to be one of the voices of reason in wonderland.

I think the people pushing for a Couture vs. Liddel fourpeat are those that think that chuck is slipping, and the Randy is on top of his game.
Looking at the differences in their three fights, I don't necessarily have a problem with it. Randy dominated Chuck for an entire fight, and Chuck knocked Randy out twice. IMO, A total domination is equal to two KO's. I give all the credit in the world to chuck, but catching a fighter with a solid punch (which chuck is best at) is not as impressive as dominating a fighter from bell to bell.

Supposedly there's not all that much interest in the Couture/Liddell 4th fight and it's not the cash cow Mr. White hoped it to be... no big loss.

Well, i think alot of people are looking forward to the Rampage/Silva fight. I personally dont care that they've fought twice before, its still gonna be one hell of a fight. And thats what i want to see.
Same with Chuck/Randy 4. I dont care about the numbers. It'd still be a good fight to watch. Forget all the UFC politics crap. I'd much rather see Chuck and Randy go at it again than some of the fights that are appearing on the main cards to come
