Marcus Hicks Vs Razor Rob WEC 38.
Oh man, this should be a good one. Jan 25th.
The contracts aren't signed yet but it's looking good.
Rob McCullough likely to meet Marcus Hicks at WEC 38 | MMAjunkie.com
Quote:
Former WEC lightweight champion "Razor" Rob McCullough (16-5) will look to get back in the title picture when he meets Marcus Hicks (8-1) at "WEC 38: Varner vs. Cerrone."
The Jan. 25 event features a headline bout between current champ Jamie Varner, who TKO'd McCullough in February to win the title, and Cerrone, who earned the title shot after scoring a unanimous-decision victory over McCullough in a top contender's bout in November at WEC 36.
A source close to McCullough told MMAjunkie.com (UFC blog for UFC news, UFC rumors, fighter interviews and event previews/recaps | MMAjunkie.com) that the match-up was agreed upon over the weekend but that bout agreements have not been signed.
WEC 38 takes place at the San Diego Sports Arena in San Diego, Calif., and the main card airs on Versus. The McCullough-Hicks fight isn't guaranteed TV time, especially when considering the McCullough-Cerrone fight in November was also relegated to the night's un-aired preliminary card -- despite being a No. 1 contender's bout.
McCullough had pieced together a nine-fight win streak, which included a January 2007 submisson victory over Kit Cope to win the WEC title, before his recent skid. He's now lost two of his past three fights. He hasn't suffered back-to-back losses since his third and fourth pro fights in 2002.
Hicks, meanwhile, looks to rebound from his first professional loss. After launching his career with eight straight victories -- all via stoppage -- Hicks suffered a TKO loss to Varner during the champ's first title defense in August.
Prior to the loss, Hicks posted three consecutive submission victories (all via guillotine choke) in the WEC.

Oh crap, this one should be good. It really depends on who can put it where they want it. Rob will kill him on the feet and Hicks will win if he gets on top. Hopefully Razor isnt such a punk on his feet like he was in his last fight because he is fearful of getting taken down.

Hopefully Razor doesn't lose this because if he does he might get booted from the WEC.

I'm taking Hicks in this fight. I don't think Rob has the KO power it takes to put Hicks away.
I remember Varner was throwing the kitchen sink at hicks and dude kept standing. He was getting hit with some serious hammers and he hung for a while. I say Hicks wins this fight by......guillatine. lol, seriously.

I got Hicks in this Rob is fun but he's not on the level of Varner, Cowboy, and Hicks IMO although I wish I could see his fight with Cowboy to see how he looked.

I should have added a poll to this. I didn't even think of it. I can't wait for this fight.
Steph, that Spencer sig is off the hook like a telephone. I love it.

Exactly what I was thinking. Its gunna take a lot to get Hicks down. Razor Rob doesn't have what it takes. He took 4 or 5 hard knees to the head and a few punches, and wouldn't go down.
