Statistics can be framed fairly easy. Look at the one you posted that threw out the outliers to make a point. If you look at BJ's fights, in most cases it took a relentless shot to get him backed up against the cage and even then it was difficult to finish. He is extremely difficult to take down with a single and when he does get taken down, the statistic doesn't show how quickly he gets back up in most cases.

I'll take Couture's word and other fighters that BJ has great TDD considering they have actually trained with him and Couture admitted that he had a lot of trouble taking him down and even more trouble keeping him there.

I don't care what anyone says, BJ had some good TDD defenses in that Serra fight. I don't think it should be thrown out.

i'm pretty sure randy couture is a better wrestler than GSP...and if he has a hard time taking BJ down...i seriously dont think GSP can...I think if GSP uses the kicks more in his gameplan he has a better chance...I noticed BJ has holes in checking the leg kicks.

Seriously? Did you even watch GSP/Penn 1? GSP took him down like 4/5 times (all in spectacular fashion) in just 2 rounds.
