Diego would be a beast at 155. There aren't that many fighters that would be able to handle his pace, size, and grappling ability.

Agreed on both fronts, I think the LW class would be amazing if it added Diego and Serra to it's roster. Right now, I think the only person who could dethrone BJ would be Kenflo, you add those two and Sherk into the mix that's a good UFC LW top 5.

I think Diego would be a beast at 155 and there are only two guys right now that I would pick over him off the top of my head and that is of course "The Prodigy" BJ Penn and this one I would have to do a little more thinking but I would still probably pick Sean Sherk over him.

He would come into fights weighing 168. Which is generally a sign they can make the lighter division i.e Kampmann coming in at 182, Hendo at 203 etc. |

Wooooow....this is some of the best news i've heard in a long time. Diego in the LW division makes it that much more interesting. Diego v Kenflo 2 anyone? i reckon that'd be a ripper
i wanna see him again, cause i luv his new found stand up.
A world GP of the best LW's would be sick, so basically dream and ufc + Gomi (of old) and Thomson

Wow, just wow! My favorite WW gaining a weight and strength advantage by moving down? He is already a top contender at 170. At 155 he would be damn near unstoppable. I like it. I like it a lot.
Great time to do it as well since he needs a couple solid wins at WW to earn a title shot. If he were to move down and get two good wins at LW I could see him getting a title shot as well. And BJ/Diego would sell PPVs!!
