Brock threw an excellent punch, and DKed him to a stoppage. Randy didn't lose the fight, Brock forcably took it from him.

That shouldn't be overlooked.

I double checked and yeah they're actually pretty similar. I thought his layoff was more 18 month-ish but it was 15 months vs. 13 months the 1st time. So I don't know, might be due to age or something then. I found him slower, heavier on his feet, couldn't duck the punches as well as he did before. Am I the only one to have this impression?

Agree 100%. However Randy "16-9" Couture is mad overated himself, nevermind the "gameplans".

First to those saying Randy is looking old and slow. This is an overreaction to his recent loss. He looked very good against Lesnar. He slipped a lot of punches even though a few caught him (Lesnar's reach is 81 inches) and he got up from his back and would have had a takedown if Brock didn hold the cage. He even cut Brock with a good left hook out of an exchange.

To those saying he doesn gameplan cuz he always does the same thing. Against Sylvia he went for a lot of double leg takedowns cuz he knew the success rate would be there. Against Gonzaga he used some of the best dirty boxing I have ever seen and did not go for many takedowns. Against Lesnar he mixed it up a bit. He didn go for too many takedowns cuz of Lesnar's wrestling and size so he tried to strike with him from a distance and use his superior footwork and accuracy in the striking game for a victory. He just didn happen to win the Lesnar fight so everyone is freakin out. I cant wait to hear all the Nog lovers when Lesnar beats him.
