Its interesting, hes not an amazing fighter but he has held the title. Id like to see him stick around and do well. Most of all I wanna see him smash Matt Hughes
if he actually said that than he needs to lose some fat and try again, cuz he is no where near the size of a normal ww...he's 5"6 and slightly muscled...sherk is bigger than he is

Agreed, he is very fat and tiny at WW, more of a reason to possibly open that catchweight of 165' and moving WW to 175' and letting it progress like that, it would make more sence. Him at 165 would proberly be perfect

LW - 155

?CW - 165?
?WW - 175?

MW - 185
LHW- 205
HW - 265

Don't quote me 100% though, Im not sure if I saw that in a video with him or someone else.

That's interesting, because he doesn't really fight effectively at WW either. I hate the fact that he's basically all Long Island has to represent us in MMA as of now. He probably wont be cut though because people know him from TUF.

I bet beat up old Matt Hughes destroys him in a New York minute.
Jeff Curan
Yves Edwards

Serra is far from a can
and no win is a fluke, he was a better fighter than GSP that night, he won
he punched GSP in the face and knocked him out, dont see how it can be a fluke, thats like saying it was a lucky punch.

Alves would push Serra's shit in. No way Matt can take him down and Alves' striking is loads better. Alves can take Serra down if need be (if he somehow got rocked), and would pound the hell out of Serra. Serra's not that threatening off his back. He uses his BJJ as defense.
