Anderson beat Franklin, and Henderson. Some would also consider Marquardt great although I wouldn't.
well Franklin has beaten the best the division can offer aside from himself, A.Silva, and Hendo who he's about to fight at 205. I mean the only great fighter he's fought at 185 is A.Silva, Tho I do think Yushin Okami will end up being a great in the 185 division.

I wouldn't put Hendo in the "great" category either. Not at 185. Looks much better at 205 IMO.

Yes and so has Sherk he's beaten everyone he's faced outside of GSP, Hughes, and BJ all great fighters.

Franklin has lost to the only great fighter he faced.

You could argue two great fighters if you like Machida but I don't so I'll stick with just Anderson.

except franklin got mauled x2 by silva while sherk had a pretty competitive fight w/ penn until the big combo at the end and bj stopped the fight....i mean, aside from cuts on his face, sherk looked unscathed and undamaged seconds before the combo that put him out...he was landing some nice shots the whole fight, but not as many as bj was....

i'd suggest a change in gameplan for the next fight but i think now that sherk has got a feel of bj, he'll pull out the W next time...

or so i shall pray

Yushin Okami is on the same level as Nate Marquardt imo, but I agree that Franklin hasn't beaten anyone great. He has been very impressive vs good opponents though. He also deals with lots of styles well... pure wrestlers, bjj guys, strikers, etc. I think he's going to beat Hendo too

I like Rich a lot but he hasn't beaten anyone great. That doesn't mean he's not a great fighter he just never has beaten one.

And Wukka I guess you could put Nate and Yushin on the same level but I don't think either is great.

I could see him beating Henderson and then he would have a win over a great fighter but him and Sherk ATM don't
