This sucks... They should give him Okami already, Silva wouldn't miss a chance to smash his face in.

Just give him Chuck Liddell!!! It will be probably the biggest event that will overshadow UFC 66 and UFC 91. I already can see a promotional trailer. Although, many of the fans are disappointed, I respect Anderson for doing so: he wants to be the best, he has to fight the best, he's on the verge of greatness. It's time for Silva (and for us, fans) to make sure his dominance isn't challenged. These are the people he needs to beat in order to make his dominance unquestionably solid:
1) Chuck Liddell
2) Lyoto Machida
3) GSP
4) Wanderlei Silva
5) Damian Maia/Shogun/Rampage/Forrest Griffin (anyone of these)

It's getting to be a regular **** up whenever a UFC event is held in the UK.

I really hope they think of something!
yeah but do you really care watching Silva, who i might add is dubbed best P4P fighter in the world, fighting nobodies?

imagine seeing Silva vs a top 5 LHW or

Silva vs... the MW division + the LW division all at once..

i know what i would rather see..

Put Gonzaga and Maia on the card, and just throw Kos in, he's always ready to fight. The Matt Hughes/Matt Serra fight is perfect for this card, since the UFC dont give England the greatest cards

Ver very annoyed! Just bought my ticket yesterday. I know the UFC will argue that nothing was officially confirmed but we all know how the rumours work.. The last event I went to was 85.. Maybe I'm the cause of all these f**k ups!

Silva should have been fighting Griffin

Not that Rashad hadn't earned it, but Rashad = Avles. Rashad should be fighting Wand or Rampage (or someone else). To me, that's the only fight that makes sense given UFCs roster. Actually, Silva's first fight at LHW should have been for a title. I mean, this guy is the best in the world -- what the hell is he doing fighting second tier competition at any weight class, and on a free Spike card? I think the UFC does a fantastic job handling their fighters. Unfortunately, not their best one.

I think Okami has a good to decent chance against Silva. He can take him down and pound on him. Rewatch the first fight- Okami attempts 3 sloppy ass TDs and finally gets him down to try and start pounding on him when the kick comes in. Okami is a much and more physical fighter then back then as well.

Franklin was a competitive fight and losing to him has no shame. Even they ever rematched I think Okami could take it if he starts stronger than he did the first time.

Hendo- I'd say 50-50% but I would love to see this match-up or Marquardt/Okami.

Okami>Cote- no way on this one- I like Cote but can't agree with this at all.

Rashad earned his shot as they granted the winner of the Evans-Liddell fight as the next contender. Dana and Co. just thought that was probably going to be Chuck and not Rashad. Not his fault for proving them wrong.

Silva was challenging himself with the move- up and he has stated he has no interest in the LHW title as he wants Machida to get it.
