They'll probably pick Leben because he's a crowd pleaser, but I think it would be interesting to see if Franklin can take him apart as quickly as Silva did.

Leben is an idiot. He talked all that shit about Silva and got smashed. I don't care who your gonna fight, you don't open your mouth up before and talk all kinds of trash. What if you lose? Or get totally demolished like Leben did? Then you look pretty damn stupid. I fought some older kid in High School I remember and I talked all kinds of shit then got stomped. I felt stupid. Can't image what Leben felt like after his fight with Silva

he felt really dumb. thats why he came right back and won his next fight by ko. he is a good fighter, he just isnt on andersons level. that loss was the best thing that ever happened to chris. he needs a loss here and there to bring him back to reality.

Yes I agree. Losses are key to most I believe. They train harder and make themselves better. Nice post

With the lack of championship ready fighter depth in the MW division, you'll probably see Leben fight Franklin so that he can get a shot at the title vs. whoever wins Swick/Silva in February. Nate M. would be a good fight and he deserves the fight but they probably won't do it because Levben sells PPVs (like him or love him, people watch him especially since he became a highlight reel when Silva destroyed him)

The problem the UFC is having is that they have a huge stable of LW and WW fighters but only a few real contenders at 185 lbs and 205 lbs. I can't think of anyone outside of the TUF4 and the top 4 UFC MWs that make up the division. There isn't anyone new out there in that division.

Fedor sleeps with a night light. Not because Fedor is afraid of the dark, but the dark is afraid of Fedor.

thanks..yeah if you think about it chris got so worked about the koscheck fight. he was looking to land that one ko punch the whole fight. and all it got him was taken down when he missed. so he came back and fought his fight against kenny. chris looked good, he looked like the fighter he said he was going to be. then bam he gets cut. dana obviously sees something in him and gives him another chance and he goes on a five fight win streak. right when he starts getting over confident and starts talking about breaking peoples jaws again he is handed his toughest loss. he gets right back in there and gets a ko victory his very next fight. people may not like him, he does talk alot of trash, i think he gets a little ahead of himself sometimes. but he has a grown alot since we first saw him. it takes alot of heart to keep going after some of the setbacks he has had. i respect him for that. and i look forward to fighting him one day.

p.s. i liked the name cat smasher better than the crippler....what about you guys??
