would u like the UFC to add a woman division ?

now that EliteXC is dead, would u like to see the top MMA women fighters get it on at UFC events?

i wouldn't mind having 1 women fight in a fight card..i think it can be fun and mix things up a bit.maybe even get some new fans to the sport.

in the other hand im not sure there are enough top level woman fighters out there right now..but it might be a supply and demand kind of thing - when women will have a big stage to show their skills..more women might be drawn to training and have abig incentive to elevat their game.

maybe start them off at fightnights on spike and with time when the divison gets more depth move the big fights to UFC numbers events.

so vote and tell us what u think any why.

Yes. It'd be boring at the moment due to a lack of quality fighters but it's the quickest way to get more interest in the division. But, really, either way I don't care much.

We need mroe top notch fighters but if UFC was to show like one quality women's fight every 2 months or so then it would be great. Cyborg vs. Carano would be a badass fight that I would really enjoy watching.

I think it's still too early for the general audience, I'd rather see the 145 dvisiion hit first. But like GMW, kinda don't care. Maybe they can trial a WUFC later down the road or something and see if the ratings are worth it.

It would be great to see women on the card here and there at fight night. the more widely televised fights, the more attention is drawn to female fighters, and the more talent they may theoretically acquire.

not a division yet. The talent pool isn't large enough. I'd just do exhibitions in WEC to gauge interest in both people watching and women fighting. I think the audience that prefers smaller weight classes will also appreciate women fighting a little more than the audience that prefers the heavier weight classes of the UFC.

The general concensus seems to be no, and for good reason...the only real marketable women fighters at this point are Carano, Cyborg and Mrs. Couture, hardly enough to start a division.

I really like Dana's idea of putting some fights on in the WEC, but the talent level is definitely not where it needs to be to have an entire division.

Especially since they've been dropping fighters lately, i'd hate to see them drop even more to start a women's division with only a couple true contenders.

I voted yes, but that's a really good point.

I put no for 2 reasons. First women need to fight by the exact same rules as the guys, that means 5 minute rounds. Second, the talent is really not there in any single weight class. You would have some hugh weight class ranges.

I would like to see woman MMA, I just don't think the time is right yet.
