Ben Saunders:Amazing Performance

I found Ben Saunders performance at Fight for The Troops to be AMAZING. His mauy thai capabilities were staggering and when the fight was FINNALY ended it looked as if Wolfe had a tumor on his forehead.

I'd just like to know all of your opinions. Possibly a title shot within a year or so if he keeps this up?

Where do you think hes going next?

Thanks.

He looked awesome both his body and fighting ability. But Joe Rogan continues to overstate everything. To compare his demolition of a 2nd rate pug to Anderson's beaten of a true champion is MMA blasphemy

He lost to Tommy Speer, couldn't finish a horrible Dan Barrera...twice, and got his ass beat in the first fight.

Matt Arroyo was the last "few prospects" on TUF6 to faulter, Saunders will be next. Until he beats a C level fighter I won't be impressed.

Saunders looked great in his last two fights showing both submission skills and Muay Thai I'm impressed no doubt.

That had to be my favorite fight that night. Those knees were brutal, but he fought a can, so I'm not expecting him to put on many more showcases like that.

What he did on TUF doesn't really matter, look at his record and his skill set. Also he has come a long way since TUF, his stand up is more refined and he has a very slick ground game. Prob would have won sub of the night in his fight against Ryan Thomas if Maia wasn't on the card.

Yeah, I kind of discount the wins/losses of guys on TUF because it isn't the right setup for a fight. They don't have a proper fight, they can't necessarily go through their normal routine, and everything is unordinary.

I pay attention more to what guys do outside the house. Those are the real fights.

Look at Tommy Speer. He won all of his fights in the house, get him on a real card (vs. Mac) and he gets crushed. After that, it was just a series of losses to mediocre guys.

He had months to train for Barrera and still couldn't finish him, and Barrera is awful.

He's fought absolutely no one, not even C level fighters. No one.
