Oh yea Ken can be a bit disrespectful at times but so are so many other fighters. I just think Ken gets a bad rep from the newer fans who came into the MMA scene instantly hating him because Tito said so. It's annoying.

Oh yea, the fans who judge Ken based on his TUF 3 appearances. I just tune those fans out, as they are irrelevant.
I've heard everything, from "The World's Most Dangerous Can" to "Frank's the only Shamrock who's worth a damn". I just chalk it up as worthless twits who haven't seen Kenny in his prime.

Since I think I'm the one who sort of set this off, allow me to explain, clarify, reinforce or retract as necessary...

I didn't mean for the "don't answer that" part of my post to come across as knobbish as I guess it did.

This is where the editing magic might have a part in forming my opinion - the show did try to portray Ken's coaching as lax. I will admit that my opinion could have been negatively affected here. However, Kalib seemed to have his head on straight, so his comments about Ken's coaching carried weight with me. And as another poster pointed out, Tait Fletcher wasn't too happy with the way Ken coached them, either.

No worries about bashing or snapping - I'm a big boy. Anyway, I don't have any animosity towards Ken Shamrock. All I'm saying is that I thought Ken was a poor coach. My point about the Lion's Den was that in the UFC bouts I've watched, I simply don't recall any recent fighter being identified with them. And the fact that even as a noob, I can recall hearing fighters being attached to Team Punishment, Team Quest, Chute Box, Red Devil, and Miletich but not the Lion's Den, makes me question the success of the Lion's Den. However, if someone were to say (for example) that the Lion's Den trains 5 top contenders that are fighting in 3 weight classes in the UFC (or wherever), then that part of my assessment would be shot to bits.
I'll have take your word on the level of corruption because I've never been even remotely involved in the fighting game. I just tend to dismiss conspiracy theories. The average guy just isn't smart enough, organized enough, and evil enough to pull off a proper conspiracy.

That's all I was getting at, really. I suppose Shamrock fans might think I was piling on.

Here's where you're dangerously close to putting words in my mouth. I didn't say anything about Shamrock beyond my opinion of his coaching. I didn't say he couldn't fight and I didn't say he was a bad guy - if I implied either, it was entirely unintentional.
I gave you some rep for good sparring, WL2FU.

AAAHHH!! Excellent rebuttle my friend!!
First I wanna say I was being sarcastic about "going against your orders"
Second, I see what you're saying about everything!!
Third, I don't wanna put words in your mouth! I hate when people do that! When I made that post I wasn't trying to make it sound like I was talking about just the people in this thread. I hear it all the time and I just was blowing off steam! After I found all those videos I posted, I read all the comments on them on the site and they were ridiculous and just put me in a horrible mood! Didn't mean to make it sound like I was talking about you specifically. I just read a lot of insanely retarded comments on those videos that pushed me over the edge!

Tito did a great job as a coach - he earned my respect from that show 100%.

I agree, I lost alot of respect for Shamrock after watching TUF and I also gained alot of respect for Tito.
