Yea, I hear that. I was just thinking about it today. I have a hard time calling him boring when I look at his knockout of Chuck, and his knockout of Sean Salmon. How can someone that boring come up with 2 of the nastiest knockouts in recent memory?

Even as a big Chuck fan I can respect Rashad and his skill. Really didn't want to see him brutally KO my guy but props to him.

Rashad-Forrest is going to be a war IMO.

Rashad got a title shot and Machida didn't. Machida is way more talanted, so he should be fighting Forrest. Speaking of Evans, he was lucky in a fight with Ortiz (he should have lost), he beat Bisping and knocked out Liddell. To me it should have been like 2-3 fights away from a title shot. So in UFC 92 I'm with Forrest all the way... Rashad is overrated in my opinion.

Favorite fighters:
1. Badr Hari
2. Remy Bonjasky
3. Mauricio Rua
4. Anderson Silva
5. Alistair Overeem

I agree with you, Machida is more deserving of a title shot; but! Don't take anything away from Rashad. Rashad is one of the most athletic guys in the LHW division. he's improved so much since entering the UFC, and he's insanely fast and powerful.

If Machida was going out there and kicking/punching people into oblivion, he probably would've gotten a title shot, but instead he stalks and counters and runs (I love watching Machida fight, but a lot of people don't, and Dana knows this). The UFC is about making money, and if Machida was out there submitting and TKO'ing people, he would've gotten his title shot long ago.

Well Im not a huge fan of Evans but I like him more than Machida. Watching Machida is like watching an 80 year old man mow the lawn with a push mower.

True, but I'm not saying that Evans is terrible, all I'm saying is that he should have been fighting somebody from TOP 10 before occupying #1 contender spot. Nevertheless, I know that UFC expected Liddell to win that fight, so it had nothing to do with Rashad, he did what everyone else would (I mean the fact that he accepted a fight with Griffin for LHW belt).

Let's be realistic here. I know Machida is great and all but when you compare records, the way in which you reached that record and the way the UFC gives titleshots, it's a fairly simple choice to give the fight to Evans. Evans isn't undeserving at all. When you KO a guy, who was champion for a long time and pretty much the face of the UFC, and it leads to your 6th straight victory, you are pretty much at the front of the line.

Saying he is overrated is ridiculous. I just don't get that at all...
