To be fair given the quality fights we will be presented with between now and then I have a feeling this will be a weak card.

Is this not two weeks after the superbowl card? cos that card is usually a big one

While it would be nice to hear them announce a big main event, there really isn't anyone to fill the space. I'm sure I've read that Randy and Chuck have said it's too early, so that doesn't really leave anyone. Probably end up being Hammill or something

Kind of frustrating that they couldn't get a better opponent for Silva, because I don't buy the 'we won't be ready' excuse. They were ready soon enough for Irvin, so unless Anderson has been on the burgers I doubt he'd have a problem getting ready for February.

Oh well, I doubt we'll get Anderson over here but there will be big headliners to come in the future.

Everyone said 85 was a weak card and it was a great night of fights, if only Alves was here again

this is true the UK cards tend to be weak but have really exciting fights UFC 80 or 81 was an immense card

You don't need big names for good fights, we all know that. There's plenty of talent in the UFC to see great fights on any card. That's why I buy tickets blindly without knowing for sure who's fighting, but I do want to see a big title fight or something next year.

The Rampage fight was goo to be there for but I was too pissed to even remember it happening

I do think there will be a decent main event, cos if not, this card would appear quite weak i reckon. If not a title fight, which im 99% sure it won't be,as i would stand corrected, but i don't think a title fight has taken place in a UK event, normally sort of No.1 contender/eliminator match ups. They certainly need a box office name,a Chuck or Randy dropping down to LHW would add some much needed spark to the card.I will definately be watching,as always, just hope for a big announcement regarding the main event.
Penn vs Stevenson was a title fight.

Think i will watch this at home for free as oppossed to paying 100+ for a ticket. the card looks crap. It has some o.k fights but thats about it, i wouldnt regard Stevenson Sanchez as a co main event, thats embarrasing. There good fighters but no way can they co main event a card

Whats crap about it - no big title fights for you?!?

are you even an MMA fan? - They havn't even finished announcing the card yet and your already giving them shit. It's hardly shit is it, you just want the pretty little poster boys up there and then your be happy.

There are a lot of bloody good fighters in the UFC and I can guarantee there will be good fights. Give the card a chance and have some patience man!!

While I agree with your sentiment have you bought tickets?]

I'll watch any UFC card on setanta but if I had to pay 100 to watch it I would be a bit pickier and the show will sell out or at least close to selling out well before the all fights are announced.

How would you feel if you bought a 100 ticket in todays harsh economic climate to be told the main event was Andy Wang vs Kalib Starnes
