For me the Rashad fight was just as close as the Hamill one, it could have easily been one loss for Evans and a loss to Bisping by Hamill to but I personally scored a draw both times min. or slight slight edge to Bisping due to the 10-9 rules, I think too much emphasis has been based on takedowns, it should be damage given i.e. if its just a takedown and no damage given, the guy gets out of it and pushes the pace on the feet he should not be losing points.

Anyway its about how we see each fight, thats why both fights were SPLIT DECISIONS!

IMO Bisping would not be getting the exposure that he has BUT he does have talent and can be a contender in a year or two. Remember the MMA game in the UK is way behind the rest and he's the first guy to really make it so give him a break, take things into perspective its not like we've produced a Liddell, Silva, Nog etc. so we can't compare, he's the main man. He's also a cool dude and misunderstood by all the haters.

Yeh, wow Bisping always gets a hard time on this forum, ppl still not over his "win" over Hamil. The guy loses once and you are questioning his being in the ufc? so funny. Vera having had that long break sure aint helped him, i think its make or break in his next fight.

Good stuff, thanks for the honest analysis. Most Brits usually are quick to put Bisping up there with the top guys. I'm not a huge fan, but I will agree with some more time and experience he can become a contender. I think however a fight with Maia would be a disaster for him right now

Being a Filipino myself (although I have lived in the states my wholfe life)-- unless Vera has some vast improvements in his next bout.. I would want to see him out. I wouldn't want someone like him representing for us..

Then it's unanimous. Bisbing belongs and Vera has fizzled out yet still remains. I remember him being touted as the next HW champ that would walk through the competition. Oh what happened..
