Honestly, he is not better than Roger.
Did he? I've never seen that fight before, how did he beat him? Regardless, Maia did beat Jacare in the Mundials which is 'pure' BJJ - but the fight was ridiculously close, which showed you can't really place one above the other.

OK maybe I overestimated saying in MMA, but if he was on top he would probably pass Nog's guard really quick and demolish. People severly overrate Nog's pure BJJ, I can think of atleast so many people that would make him look like a child on the floor. Hell he gets subbed by Palhares.

And sorry F>A, Jason only survived for a few rounds. He never did anything legitamately offensive on the ground. Hell it was practically over in the first 30 seconds of the fight.

Forum Bets: 2-0

Now you're just being silly, IMO.

Regardless of whether he never did anything offensive, he defended the offensive onslaught of Maia for 2 full rounds which is 10 minutes. You said Nogueira wouldn't even last 5 minutes and his MMA-BJJ is light years better than MacDonald's. Really, try considering what you're about to say before saying it.

You have all forgotten Rob Emerson, or are we really just talking about #2 since it is default that he is #1 in all aspects of MMA?
