UFC 92 Bonuses - KO of The Night & FOTN

From MMAWeekly- http://www.mmaweekly.com/absolutenm/...7864&zoneid=13

In a night that saw 2 new champions crowned in the UFC, the promotion handed down the usual fight bonuses with $60,000 as the reward.

The "Fight of the Night" went to new 205lb champion Rashad Evans and now former title holder, Forrest Griffin for their war on Saturday night. After an early advantage for Griffin in the first two rounds, it was Evans who earned the win with a TKO stoppage on the ground in the third.

The "Knockout of the Night" went to former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson who exacted a measure of revenge against old foe Wanderlei Silva when he landed a thunderous shot that put the Brazilian down and out on the canvas.

No fights on the 10 bout card ended in submission, and thus the UFC handed out no "Submission of the Night" bonus.

14,103 fans crowded into the MGM Grand Garden Arena to see the last UFC show of the year capped off with the two title fights crowing new champions in the light heavyweight and heavyweight divisions.

* Well I guess Wandy's name might actually be on the cheque for Knockout of the night

LOL @ the irony.

Wanderlei attends a press conference, turns to his boss and arrogantly advises that he put his name on the check for knockout of the night only for himself to be knocked out colder than a slab of ice.

Wandy will always hear snickers behind his back as he walks past his fellow fighters...he set himself up with his cocky rhetoric.
