I think the main reason he won't come over is because of the change of rules, remember what happened last time he got hit with elbows? I'm not taking anything away from him hes an extremely talented guy but I just thik he is afraid of injury and the rules in the UFC dont suit his unique style as well as the rules in Japan.

I would love nothing more than to see Aoki take on BJ. What an epic fight that would be. Once the fight hit the ground....man....what a treat.

Aye its easy to call out fighters when you know the chances of those fights to happen are next to none. Kinda weird move to do by Aoki though.

Agreed. BJ's "I'll make you wait your title shot a year" -game plan is really destroying Florian already. Talented or not BJ is just a cocky dreamer who barely fights twice a year, dunno what the hell Dana was thinking when he allowed Pen to freeze 2 divisions like this.
I really hope this hostage situation ends already by BJ getting beaten first by GSP and then by Florian so we'll finally get a champ that actually fights regularly to LW. Its only a matter of time for that, thanks to BJ a matter of long time.

I actually wouldn't put it past BJ to go to Japan to address this after his UFC contract is up.

Stand-up is BJ all day. I just want to see this fight go the ground. What happens from there is the stuff dreams are made of.

You do know that he fought a grueling fight against Uno before that, right? You do know that he gogo'd Hansen before, right?

But yes, BJ would beat Aoki pretty decisively.

I do, $$$

Florian will never beat Penn, be realistic, I think theres only 1 person that has a shot at beat Penn now, that Is Diego Sanchez...

You're talking about strictly in the UFC, right?

Because I think there are a few LWs that have fought at DREAM that could either give BJ a hard time or straight out beat him.

Yeah I was talking about the UFC, but Penn would beat any LW in Dream IMO, Sanchez could be the man to dethrone him, but we'll have to wait and see how he looks at 155
