Aoki wants BJ

He seems like he respects BJ and acknowledges that BJ is currently the top dog at 155. But he also states that he WILL NOT go to the UFC. So can someone tell me what the hell is the point of calling out someone that you know you cant fight??

He knows BJ is tied up in UFC and he will never fight for UFC its just so that fans think hes the real deal oh he could do it.. even tho this fight will never happen. BJ would demolish him anyway.

Who doesnt want a BJ?

After watchin him get dismantled vs Hansen 2, I really dont see how he could challenge BJ.

1. Wants to stay in Asia.
2. Doesn't like the UFC policies etc, many have had troubles with the UFC over this.

I could see wanting to compete in Japan if Pride was still around. But those organizations currently running over there are whacky. Granted Pride wasnt exactly run that well either, but it put on great shows and was regarded as the best organization in the world. You got a main event level fight being called off like an hour before the fight is supposed to go down(JZ/Hansen),great fighters fighting guys they have no business fighting. I dunno, they got alot of good guys over there. I just think I could do a better job of running some of those shows. Dream, Sengoku, are all just ashes of a beautiful dynasty that was once known as Pride.

Im sure he loves fighting in his home country, but why not at least give the UFC a shot. Sign a 3 fight deal and if you dont like it at the end, peace out. When Pride was around, several guys left there comfort zones in the US with the UFC and split for Pride. If Aoki wants to fight BJ bad enough he should do it. But im afraid there is a much better chance of BJ hearing about Aoki calling him out and bolting over to Japan immediately after the GSP fight and fighting him over there.

Exactly. How many fights has BJ got left on his UFC contract?

DJ Syko 01-02-2009 08:10 AM

Plus i dont think the UFC will value him as much as they do in japan and offer him a poor contract.

I would love to see BJ/Aoki some day i think it will be a lot better fight than what people make it out to be, but BJ would still get the win.

ps. Why wouldnt he be allowed to wheres his rainbow pants? if that aint allowed then i wouldnt want to see him in the UfC lol.
