Yeah, just look at who they have beaten in their last fights.
HMC is way bigger than Badr Hari, therefor CroCop is better than Overeem.

Overeem is huge. I hate to admit that he may well beat Cro Cop, unless the old Cro Cop should delight us all by returning.

If the scenario were to play out that Cro Cop wins a couple more fights this year and then returns to the UFC I might want to see him fight a big name from the UFC and not Overeem. Unless CC returns to his glory days form I think Overeem would do much of the same to him in the cage- take him down and pound on him for much of the fight.

It would be fun to see CC vs. Brock though.

stop dreaming people the old cro cop is dead, theres no way we'll see that beast again. ever since losing to gonzaga people have hoped for him to return in good form, but it hasnt happened, he's simply a shell of his former self. current cro cop is only good for beating cans and freakshows.

he just doesn't have the drive anymore. don't get me wrong it would be awesome if he starting koing fools again, but i just don't see it happening.

alistair is getting better and better, while cro cop is on a decline. by the time this fight happens overeem will just dominate.

<--- the punch that started it all!

My current favirote fighters
Anderson Silva
Junior Dos Santos
Mauricio Rua
Alistair Overeem
Jon Jones

WAR dan hardy, paul daley, ross pearson and terry etim doing it for the britz!

Actually the old Cro Cop is still alive and well...he is just irrelevant because that one weapon (left leg) is not enough for today's fighter.

Given how both men have been performing of late....Overeem takes this fairly easily.

Demian Maia may be the Fred Astaire of jiu-jitsu, but it’s too bad Silva is the Gene Kelly of kicking everyone’s ass.

Crocop had way more in his arsenal than just a LHK back in the day. Excellent footwork, great boxing and nice elusiveness made him the most dangerous striker in MMA. Not to mention his TDD which some people were calling the best in the sport only a few years ago.

Yeah Crocop's not really a good fighter anymore but there's no way that MMA has advanced that much that the Crocop of 05/06 couldn't still be a dominant force at HW IMO.

If CC is only going to have one UFC fight as his farewell fight, I would imagine he would try to duck Overeem and get an easier win. Unfortunetly, Overeem was dominating CC in their last fight, and I don't think that there needs to be a rematch, it was clear who was winning. As much as I love CC, I'm hoping he WILL retire, I've lost a lot of faith in him since UFC, and it saddens me.
