Is the UFC in April the month where Silva is fighting Leites? Will this be good enough as a co-main?

As much as I dislike Jardine, I'm going to pick him for the win. I am not sold on Cane yet and I think he's starting to get overhyped. He looks like a good up and comer but I think Jardine needs the win more. Honestly, I don't care who wins this fight though.

Yeah that is when Silva is fighting Leites, there are also rumors that they are going to do Mir/Lesnar 2 in April also. I think this would be a good co-main event because it would be a good coming out party for Cane just like UFC 78 with Thiago Silva

No way this is the co mainevent on that card unless it's free.

Silva vs Leites is doing no numbers PPV wise and with this as the co main event it would draw no fans at all.

Putting 4 guys in the 4 major slots who aren't draws is retarted.

I think Jardine is somewhat of a draw, but ya, I agree with you.

Really I don't know. Jardine has been on cards that do big numbers but they have all had guys who are way bigger names on the cards.

I don't really see Keith Jardine fans around I could be wrong though.

I don't remember the numbers for UFC 78 but I don't think it did that well and even though Rashad is one of my favorite fighters do you think going into that fight him and Bisping were going to do big numbers? After that PPV at least on here I remember a lot of us fools who picked Alexander(me being one of them) takling about him. I think the same can happen with Cane. Also they might put Mir/Lesnar 2 on this card so it can possibly sell.

78 did horrible numbers and the UFC got ripped for it.

Also putting Mir vs Lesnar on this card would make sense. But having Silva vs Leites, and Jardine vs Cane as your two big fights that's begging for horrible numbers.

Edit - Actually I take that back i looked up the numbers and they were bad but not horrible. It had a lot to do probably with Bisping and Rashad both being solid names.

He just seems somewhat popular due to his image, how soft spoken he is, and how willing he is to fight tough guys. Those kinda things matter to fans IMO.
