I'm picking Brock by technical knock out. Mir has an average chin at best. I know Brock has an untested chin, but that's still a mystery and we can't really judge. We KNOW Mir has an average chin. It doesn't take much to put him down and Brock obviously has the punching power to do so and he has shown that.

It's funny how Mir is acting like he has great stand up now. I'm doubting that it has improved that much within a year since his fight with Brock. One good performance against Big Nog doesn't change my mind. Brock will be a lot more aggressive and he may not be as good of a boxer as Big Nog, but he makes up for that with power and aggression. He won't sit back and take what Mir dishes out. He will keep this standing and win in my opinion.

I can't wait for this fight. Mur is really talking it up and it sounds to me like he is either grossly underestimating Brocks size and skill or he is just talking himself into it. Either way this is going to be a major impact fight on the UFC HW division and the overall HW rankings. I see Lesnar winning by ref stoppage, especially if Mur thinks standing with Brock is an advantage. I do like Mur, but I just don't see him winning this fight or ever really being in it.

i hope mir destroys lesnar, but if lesnar uses his wrestling to keep it standing, he can win it.

mir left himself open to counters during the nog fight, and we know brock's got power, so brock can take this if he lands a hard one then goes in for the donkey kong finish.

brock's strategy is to keep it standing, hurt mir, then go in for the finish.

Mir's trash talk was elegantly over the top for their first fight. This time around, I get the sense he really believes his own hype, or at least badly wants to believe his own hype.

Upon objective reflection however, we see a clear pattern: Nogueira has been knocked on his rear end in every single UFC fight. Not only that, he's looked slow, flat footed, and his ability to avoid punches has been close to non existent.

This suggests that Mir took advantage of a fighter with a massive deterioration in his standup game, rather than pointing to any miraculous improvement in Mir's striking.

Final Analysis:
A more cautious Brock will KO or simply pound his way to victory after Mir is dazed by punches and/or elbows. Brock has demonstrated explosive power with knee strikes on the ground, and elbows and punches standing.

Anyway, expect a lot of hate against Lesnar for his ridiculous size and athleticism, and for his background in sports entertainment.

Way I see it Brock will strike and if he thinks the round is close or he is losing it then he will go for the take down with like 20 seconds left in the round. That way Mir would only have a very short time to go for a sub and Brock's size and supposedly improved BJJ game should let him avoid the sub.

I'm thinking Brock can win that way.

In their last fight, Lesnar took Mir down and was raining down hammer fists. I don't think Mir is actually aware of how strong Lesnar is. Also, experience? It didn't work for Randy and I can't see it working for Mir. I do think Mir will win the fight by a leglock but he seems to think Lesnar is mainly a wrestler. He might not be the most technical boxer but if he hits you flush, 9/10 times, you're going down to the mat.

Brock is going to win via TKO. Mir is not that good of a fighter, he's so cocky. I don't really like either fighters, but I honestly think Brock will pull it off this time.

a glancing blow to the side of couture's head took him out of the fight. And why does Mir think he'll stand with Lesnar... is he insane. It'll be over pretty fast, Brock's movement is so much faster than Mir. I can't wait to see this fight happen.
