Brandon Vera vs Tim sylvia

I think Brandon can take Tim no question about it. I think Tim knows this and will put off this fight for while.

as much as i hate tim sylvia and think he's alot of negative things a coward he is not so i think he'd take on vera head on but i think/hope vera wins so the ufc can have a more respectable heavy weight champ

I would think vera will get a shot win or loss to mir. Tim went three ugly rounds with Assuero Silva. One fight later Brandon beats him like a drum.

I was under the impression that monson was going to have to vera before getting his shot, but I was wrong.

I think Vera is a stunning example of how to bring along a fighter. They brought this guy perfectly with the right fights in the right order.

Can he win the belt? Yeah without a doubt. Can he out box Syliva? Prob not.
Vera needs a game plan that involves alot of his kicks, and set up Tim for the ground game. All Brandon has to worry about is being caught by a hail marry.

i like vera but i think he should have to fight monson/AA beat one of those two and then he gets his shot, meanwhile let big tim go one on one with cabbage one more time to soften him up for the winner.

If Vera beats Frank Mir at 65 then he is next in line for a title shot.
