The run of bad luck for "Ultimate Fighter" season 7 winner, Amir Sadollah, continues in his post reality show career as MMAWeekly.com has confirmed that he has been forced out of his upcoming bout against Nick Catone at UFC Fight Night on Feb 7.
At this time the severity of his injury has not been confirmed, but sources indicated that the fighter suffered a broken clavicle in training that pushed him out of the fight. Calls to Sadollah's management were not immediately returned.
Sadollah and Catone were originally scheduled to meet in November 2007, but a last second leg injury forced the "Ultimate Fighter" winner off the card and instead of finding a replacement, the UFC opted to push their match-up back to February instead.
Before his previously scheduled match in Nov, Sadollah had a leg infection that put him in the hospital and out of action for an extended period of time, and if the injury reports are accurate, this latest ailment could keep him sidelined for an undetermined amount of time as well.
No replacement for the fight has been named at this time, but according to sources close to Catone, the UFC is searching for another fighter to plug into the spot vacated by Sadollah.

Even though this is not his fault, I hope next time we see Amir he is really impressive. I know it's not being done on purpose, but it's actually making me want to see him fight already.
Is Sadollah ever going to fight? Well, from the looks of things, this had the potential to be an upset anyways. Well, not really an upset, but name recognition wise, it would have been. I want to see Sadollah succeed and he should get a can for his first fight off of the ultimate fighter in the UFC.
I like Amir too much to say that. Someone else I might but Amir seems like a good guy even though he needs to move to 170 and Catone was going to send him there.
Ya, I do too. I forgot to bold the part where you wrote someone doesn't want the fight to happen. I wasn't serious btw because I haven't seen Catone and so I can't judge if he is good or not.
I doubt Amir is ducking him, but you can't blame him if he were. Nick Catone is pretty much a no name but not a can. That's a bad combination. Sadollah is still completely green and losing to Catone would hurt his stock so badly. That's a big possibility as well. I'd ask for the UFC to sign Ross Pointon or someone so Amir gets an easy win. They can't forget that he has only had one professional fight so it's not a big deal if he fights a can next. I'd welcome that for sure.
Honestly I dont care about not getting to see Amir because there are a lot of matches currently scheduled on the undercard I would rather see but I feel bad for Catone. They better get him a replacement this time.
Crappy news. I was looking forward to seeing what Amir's really got. Also it's got to be a huge disappointment for Amir and Nick. I'm sure they have been training like mad and were excited for the opportunity to me on the main card. Now however with the fight not happening it will be much harder for Amir to get on the main card in his next fight if it's much further away. Just because of the fact that people will soon forgot about him being the TUF winner or will just no longer care.
Anyways here's hoping for a speedy recovery so we can finally see this fight.
I said it before and i'll say it again...C.B Dolloway will do MUCH more than Amir in the UFC. Winning TUF is as far as Amir is going to go. I could just tell with him even when he was in the house.
Dolloway will never reach the heights of equaling a TUF winner at any time in his career. He will never smell a title shot. I'm not saying Amir is gonna be a world beater but he's more then proven he's better then Cry Baby.
Its a shame Amir is always injured I can't wait to see Sadollah fight again ..
