Yeah, Alves amazing ground game and wrestling will get him through this no problem.


GSP will beat Alves and then Silva, then maybe someone will have emerged who can beat him, but I doubt it.

I never said he would beat GSP, I said he could.

He's going to be the best striker GSP has faced yet...not only that, Alves is the best striker at WW, he has a size advantage and great takedown defense.

He can definitely beat GSP.

He won't beat Anderson, because they won't fight, because GSP would be foolish to move up a weight class.

GSP(unlike Silva, who has no problem moving up) has basically cleared out his division if he beatts Alves.

If he did move up, which he should, he'd kill Silva since he could take him down and Silva hasn't got the Jitz to submit him.

Alves is still just as dangerous as he was before the fight. It won't be any walk in the park for Georges. I'm not sure whether it's going to be a title fight though, because I haven't seen Alves make 170 yet.
