Pic of Alves standing next to GSP after fight?

From what I remember, Alves was HUGE compared to GSP.

GSP said he would be around 186 for this fight against BJ and Alves weighs at around 200 for fights.

You think this could be a problem and does anyone have a pic of it maybe?

"When I hear athletes call themselves warriors, it does bother me a little bit. When I think of a warrior, I think of the Marines I've led in combat, those Marines that sacrificed so much...no showers, little food, no contact with their family, all for their love for their brother Marine and for their love for their country. That's a warrior, willing to lay his life on the line. I've had Marines that have laid their lives on the line for the man next to him, and for their family and country. That's a warrior. The guy who goes into some athletic contest who has no war experience, in my eyes, really has no right to call himself that. That's a coveted thing to call someone, and that's what I call my Marines. Those are warriors." - Brian Stann

GSP's Wrestling essentially outweighs weight advantages. I think he'll be able to control where the fight goes, just like he did against BJ tonight.

I didn't really notice this myself so I'd be interested in seeing a pic of this as well if somebody has one.

I think GSP answered size questions when he fought Fitch.

Alves is big, don't get me wrong, but his wrestling is amazing and he'll be able to do what he did to B.J tonight.

Kds was a little faster in posting, lol.

sure alves is 15 pounds heavier, but I think GSP will do to him what he did to BJ.

I agree, but I also have my doubts. Alves controlled Kos very well and Alves will be 200ish pounds. BJ was 170 tonight.

Alves will have about 15 pounds on GSP and Alves TDD isn't a joke.

GSP will make Alves look worse then BJ - Guranteed

he has done so with every opponent, he just keeps getting better and his ground game is at the Top! he has taken anyone he fights down at will and even more amazing he passed BJs guard

This fight will be interesting.

I think standing, Alves has the best chance for winning.

I think GSP will be able to take Alves down, but not like tonight or not at will since Alves has great TDD and he will be much heavier than GSP.

I honestly Cannot wait for this fight.

Honestly, Thiago is disproportionately top-heavy, whereas GSP's weight is more evenly distributed. Come fight night, they'll both be re-hydrated at about 185lbs, size won't make much of a difference.
