Ok that first round was not as one sided as some of you make it out to be. GSP may have one because he controlled Penn along the cage in clinch for the most, but BJ did the most damage with strikes. The one place most people GSP would do well in BJ does better and GSP dominated the strikes from range, weird.

GSP is my favorite fighter and I will rep him as long as I watch this sport, but the nut-hugging around here is starting to scare even me. BJ put up a good performance, but he came up against a completely different monster in an unnatural weight class.

How about I don't think he even landed one punch. I swear I only saw BJ throw maybe 10 strikes and I'll be generous and say one mediocre one landed.

BJ had absolutely no offense at all.
I am honestly questioning if he even threw 2 punches.Pure and simple domination by GSP.

You have got to be kidding me...a "good" performance? What performance? He didn't do anything. GSP wouldn't let him do anything, it was competitive for maybe 2 minutes and then it was clear cut Georges domination until the end.

He didn't put up a whole lot of offense, but as I said in my first post, probably did more damage in the first round until probably the last 30 seconds from inside the clinch. And although he did get stopped and GSP put pure punishment on him for pretty much the entire fight, he avoided most of the big shots. Honestly, the beatdowns of Hughes 3, Serra 2 and Fitch were worse then this one. BJ sure got worked, but you guys are a little blinded from the win I think, understandably of course.

It was worse than the Fitch fight, unbelievable. I'm disapointed in BJ big time.
Don't be disappointed. He is still the LW champ and will be for quite a while, I think. GSP is just too good and has a lot more gas in his tank along with more muscles.

Did he dominate him with skill or with size?

Both. Gsp was clearly the stronger fighter but he was also clearly better then Bj at everything else. Only thing il give BJ the edge in is his mouth. Not cause he talks alot of trash but because BJ obviously stands for something.

From when do we use physical giftness as an excuse for the other fighter?? Bj knew what he was getting himself into so i dont know why people would even bring this up. Most fighters will tell you that strength dosent win you fights.
