I don't know about everyone else...but I see Anderson Silva just simply out-striking Travis early, and not even giving Lutter a chance to get the takedown. Silva's strikes are pin-point, and he rarely misses...if ever.

If Lutter can't get in on Anderson early, he's going to get TKO'd. Don't take my word...just ask Leben and Franklin.

And if the fight would go to the ground, I don't see much changing. Everyone keeps thinking that Lutter is the holy grail of the mat. Need I remind you:

Anderson Silva earned his BJJ Black Belt from the Nogueira's about 3 months before he fought Rich Franklin. You think his ground game is that non-existant, and that Travis will just dominate him there? C'mon now...stop kidding yourself.

i'm a monster

i know this world is changin'
never gave in
never gave up

I'm glad you said that. But can you back it up? "Silva is a chump on the ground".

Jeremy Horn is no chump on the ground and he's fought everyone and couldnt submit Silva.

Excellent post, really couldn't have said it better myself.

Haha I was being sarcastic. I thought I made that clear with the joking of Lutter finishing Silva in his first takedown attempt.

silva isnt that good on the ground.Hes got subbed more than once and was in trouble fighting newton who isnt at the same level on the ground as lutter, i mean he got mounted against newton, im not sure that he would be able to make that mistake against the looter. His takedown defence is barely decent for an a level fighter, both newton and horn took him down without that much trouble. but i still think lutter he will get ko'd.

Please don't use that as your conclusional facts. He's lost 2...2 fights by submission, doesn't mean he's not "that good on the ground". One coming in 2003 and of course the infamous flying scissor heel hook, which again, as many people have pointed out, is a crazy ass submission that not even the best submission fighters could escape from or not prevent. Try again.

I know you don't have too, because you have nothing else.

Uh oh, name calling, since when did MMA discussion get so personal these days? Oh well, first act of not knowing what the hell you're talking about - name calling.
