I think that after lutter will try to takedown anderson but anderson will catch him with some big punces and a knee and it will be over silva will comeout on top. Now if Lutter finds some way to take him to the ground he might win. because Silva does have a good ground game but Lutter has an edge there.

Well someone said taht lutter schooled pele and therefore will school silva

So the guy just said that Pele is not as good as Anderson is any aspect of MMA...and that Anderson will school lutter.

I was just poking fun at the Matt Hughes fans earlier when I said about Pele beating matt hughes and lutter beating pele = lutter is better than matt hughes...which some people seem to find IMPOSSIBLE to believe that ANYONE could be better than Hughes...NOT MATT HUGHES! THE UFC CHAMP! HES THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS AND HAS FOUGHT A BUNCH OF CANS TO PROVE IT!

I just want UFC vs Pride already to show these ignorant UFC only fans that UFC isnt the bees knees of MMA. Its is just the training ground for Pride.

Life or death decisions frighten the hell out of me.

But I favor Silva because the intangibles favor him going into this fight. He's got more spades in his hand than Lutter.

I was saying that Anderson's past ground fight activities needed to be reexamined in light of Jaw Shatterer posting on the Lutter/Landi and Silva/Horn fights.

Landi and Silva's styles needed to be addressed as well because of the designation of "striker" shared by them both. Yet their approach to the game of standup is totally different and should be considered when drawing conclusions as to the outcome of the upcoming matchup of Silva/Lutter. Just the different way Landi and Silva move ALONE will influence how Lutter fights. Watch and see.

I still say Lutter will shoot in right away and get kneed for the KO!

I can see that happening if he loses focus and becomes frustrated at getting hit repeatedly by Silva while standing.

Lutters only chance is the ground. Getting there might be a different story.

If he does take him down...and lay on top of him for the first round and get the first round under his belt...Anderson will just walk out in the 2nd round and thai clinch his ass and kill him.

dude he doesent lay on people. I saw his fight with pele who was silva's team mate. He made some of the nicest ground transitions ive ever seen, he started in pele's guard, got mount pretty quick, and secured a pimpin armbar after pounding on him for a lil while

Ahh...now my dear padawan......REVEALED your feelings are!!

I sense a strong belief in you of an Anderson Silva victory by KO. However you must train yourself to follow with your knowlege of the MMA....be not consumed with your feelings. Therefore you must look deeper.....

Simple laying and praying does not always to winning rounds lead....establish not your analysis by past fighters who employ a "lay and pray" stratedgy as a means to easily win a round without doing "much". But rather the fighting by those who initiate and push the action.

Much defense and effective striking from the guard can, a nod from the judges bring.....hmmm? Study, progress, grow....may the knowledge of MMA be with you.
