Anderson Silva a Real Class Act!

I thought it was pretty cool how Anderson Silva came up to the octagon and congratulated Travis Lutter, his future opponent, on his win against Patrick Cote! It isn't the first time he showed this much class either! When he beat Rich Franklin, Anderson still said he was a great champion!

Now some of you may think that I'm hugging the nuts but I'm just pointing out that he is a class act! What are your thought?

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

He is a pretty nice guy. I say he needs to learn english, though. That guy who follows him around makes me mad for some reason.

I was praying that he wasn't going to pull a GSP and rain on Lutter's parade. He didn't, but it was still awkward b/c the crowd was waiting for some WWF type theatrics but thank God he just congratulated Lutter. A good move on Silva's part.
BTW, Anderson looked a lot bigger than Travis when they were in the ring.

yeah he is a class act
But you gotta remember what these guys act like nice or bad doesent mean shit about who they really are. Its all for what they think will bring them fans or if they even care. Anderson has been very respectfull in the ufc. I think he was cooler in rpide, doing crazy spinning dances before fights and after wins. playing his invisible guitar after wins. But he hasnt really done any of that in the ufc. hes always been respectfull of his opponents but his old team. Shogun rua says anderson is the kind fo guy that treats you like a buddy one minute and stabs you int he back the next. Wanderlei calls him a ***** for some reason? But wandys always used to support him and be his buddy ,same with shogun. So he does have beefs.

Man before silva fought leben he said "i think we will trade and i will knock him out" and then grinned and laughed a bit. he does have a bit of an attitude but he is a class act forsure.

That was very cool of Silva. It sucks that his first title defense will be against the winner out of a bunch of losers that couldn't hang in the UFC. I'd like to see him fight somebody that deserves a title shot instead, but I guess there is plenty of time for that after he kills Lutter.

I liked how he said that he was going to go train some jiu-jitsu after talking to Lutter in the octagon. Although I know he already has a decent ground game, I thought it was cool that he admitted that maybe that isn't the strongest aspect of his game, and that he would improve on it for his fight with Luter. It's not often you see a guy admit he's human unlike some fighters who walk around like they have 80 pound balls and no flaws in their game.
