You're an idiotOkilian said:im suprised no one has mentioned Anderson Silva yet... hes dominated most around the world... and made quick work of any "competition" in the UFC. As for Ken Shamrock.. he is a ****ing joke he has never beaten a decent fighter in his life, no ****ing way he is considered one of the best ever. You can say hes gotten older and thats the reason hes been losing. Thats bullshit hes still in excellent shape and has trained hard as he had previously he just ****ing sucks. Tito rearanged his facial configuration 3 times and he finally figures out to leave the sport.
Yes, I'm serious. I don't acknowledge the 400-0 record, but that doesn't change how great a fighter he was (is?). Sure the competition back then wasn't nearly at the same level it is today, but you have to measure a man against the era he fought in and Rickson was outrageously dominant during his prime. Most people consider Royce Gracie to be a legend and one of the greatest of all time. Rickson was the family champion. Simply put Rickson > Royce.Beeno said:Rickson Gracie - are you serious? Why? Because of his mythical 400-0 record that even his father Helio doesn't acknowledge? That dude is more of an urban legend than a greatest fighter ever contender.
That's ridiculous, it doesnt matter if hes still in shape. He's in his 40s, at that age you start to slow down, get weaker, less coordinated, etc. The injuries and whatnot have taken there toll and 42 is old for MMA if you didnt know. Ken Shamrock was a legend back in his day and I'm tired of some fans giving him grief because of what he has done lately, they dont realize that hes been around since UFC 1 and was a top dog, its hard to leave a sport you love. You look in the mirror and realize you arent what you used to be and dont wanna face the music throwing in the towel. Give the hall of famer some respect and stop judging his skills for what they are now and remember how good he used to be, him and Royce Gracie made UFC back then. I don't care how you look at it, its the truth!Okilian said:im suprised no one has mentioned Anderson Silva yet... hes dominated most around the world... and made quick work of any "competition" in the UFC. just bc frank is hardly fighting anymore doesnt mean he sucks.. he hasnt had a real opponent yet.. and plus hes still been in training for the past 7 years..so he could be even better than he was before.. its not like hes been sitting on the couch eating potato chips..lolHeggi said:Hahaha ! Frank will destroy hughes? wtf..
dude, i hope your kidding..
Frank cant even beat a B class fighter anymore..
he SUCKS! ok..
Royce atleast fought good competition. Rickson Gracie padded his record, and avoided Sakuraba like the plague. Royce has beaten Ken Shamrock & Dan Severn. Rickson has beaten Funaki, and a bunch of nobodies. Does beating a carny pro wrester(Takada) mean that much? Royce also faced the one guy Rickson didn't want to in Sakuraba, and had a ground breaking(Albeit boring as hell) fight with him(Saku).sirdilznik said:Yes, I'm serious. Way to protect yourself by claiming that if Alex wins then it proves the UFC sucks and if he loses it's because he sucks. Why do you even watch the UFC since you hate it so much and all of the fighters suck?NaChOmAmA said:hahahah
its not like I was angry in my post!
Just sick of hearing Matt Hughes and Tito are amazing.
They are just too 1 dimensional fighters and boring to watch.
UFC is becoming stale unless they get some good talent!
Anderson Silva was a good choice...although he made the UFC fighters look like a bunch of chumps (because they are)
and hopefully Fedors bro Aleks comes soon! It will be interesting to see how he fends against the UFC heavyweights...becuase hes not really a top pride competitor...hes actually supposedly only beaten cans...so if he comes and wipes out the HW division...it will again show the low level of competition the UFC has to offer.

Hughes is/was a good fighter, but in my opinion he's not even in the top ten of all time.
