If he fights Sherk he better have been getting his cardio up there for sure tho. Anybody else won't last with him long enough for him to gas. But cardio always matters. I hope the UFC doesn't put him in there with some chump. I think he deserves a title-shot right away but I doubt it will go down like that. But hopefully

yeah thats kinda what i was wondering, i dont see aproblem with giving him a title shot right away, if ken flo deserves one than bj does imo. i wouldnt mind seeing bj fight spencer fischer though. i think that would be an exciting match.

haha nobody in the division would stand a chance against BJ

I think he should win the belt, then challenge matt hughes and win both belts

although matt wont have his after this weekend!

I doubt Hughes and Bj will get to fight, Hughes announced his retirement after his next 2-3 fights. I guess he is going to fight GSP then A. Silvia and I think that is all. It’s on sherdog.

so it sounds like we all think that bj should have fought hughes one more time. but we are all also happy that he is back at 155. did anyone else find it a little strange how they kinda nonchalantly mentioned that bj was dropping back down? i would hev thought they would make more of an anouncement than that. they just mentioned it like everyone already knew. do you think that it slipped out on accident? i guess i just imagined dana doing one of his big announcements for something like that. where he would be standing in the cage, and he would bring out spencer fischer, or gulliard, or even bring out sherk and be like for this guys next fight he will be facingf a new edition to the lw div. and then bring out bj, the crowd goes nuts, they have a little stare down. it seemed like we werent supposed to find out the way we did. just my opinion

There is no where for BJ to go in the welter weight division. He lost both fights to the top contender and to the belt holder. He knows he'd have to strat over and try to work his way back up to a title shot. So instead of taking the ify chance of doing it agianst people he knows are real tough fights he's moving to light weights where he knows he can get a title shot rather quickly.

I think his game will get worse. There are a lot of mind games to be played yet with the mental impact of having your bones broken and coming off of a two loss streak. With BJ it's all about his mind...if he's into a fight he does eally well but as soon as his mind loses him he loses the fight.

To be honest I think BJ's got a lot of talent but I think it's wasted on him.

yea Hughes isnt retiring

Well see what he says once he gets rocked by GSP!

haha

Hopefully a rubber match with Hughes and Pierre

Hughes will loose

Then fight BJ and Loose

and finally decide to move up to MW to face anderson
and looses

Then he retires!

That would be a great ending for Matt "Snooze" Hughes
