ive never understood why guys dont throw more standing elbows. they are so effective, and its so much easier to break your hand, so why not elbow when you get in close. thats kind of my game plan, kick as long as they are out of range of punchs, punch if they are too close to kick, and elbow if they are too close to punch.

i like the muay thai dance he does afterwards. he is very entertaining. he used to have some pretty funny entrances in pride. he did the michael jackson one time.

Well because the percentage of catching someone with a standing elbow is alot lower then a straight hand because of the reach so they dont try it as much

It was in there, in the yellow octagon, it was more of a heel kick, the guy was in half guard and in close, anderson just cocked his leg back and kicked him in the face.
