if its all luck why are the same people winning?

They cover it pretty well considering the have 4 times the amount of games in hockey or baseball as they do in mma. They've had mma personalities on OTR and shows like that so it is getting better.

I dont know about the US but i doubt in UK it will ever be showed on our sports shows like Grandstand because people would write and phone in complainign about how violent it is and how kids are doing it to eachother at school. Its all about the public views on a sport and how many followers it has.

i agree with you, but it's just amazing that in America, you have so many kids playing football in the yard, breaking legs, getting hurt... yet that's ok simply because it's a pro sport! (of course, only because sponsors endorse it)...

it's so hypocritical... people are ok with "team" violence, just not "one on one" violence. for some reason, that's worse...

whiskey, racism, money, grease, twinkie's, guns.....yep lol thats about it

In hockey, dropping the gloves is a hit on sportcenter where as a figthing sport is not at all represented. "It s good all fashioned hockey" is the answer they give you...They are still punching each other in the head, no matter how old fashioned it is.

Hypocritical YES!. Football (soccer) is meant to be a little or no contact sport yet you see violet things. As well as off the pitch aswell. Heard of football (soccer) hooligans but never MMA hooligans.
