I know they never show the whole story, but I was watching the countdown to UFC 65 show, and they featured GSP vs. Hughes and were showing GSP's famous "I wasn't impressed by your performance" line. However afterwards, they pictured GSP going out of his way to apologize to Hughes because he had made a mistake. Hughes responded to this by calling him a "8-year-old" who came back with his tail between his legs. It scares me how much the story can change by leaving out tiny details. Did anyone else see this?

Hughes called GSP in the ring too it looked like in that special. He went towarsds the side of the octagon and ran his mouth...then GSP came in.

I watched it also last night and Hughes also said he didn't care or wasn't flattered that GSP used to think he was his Idol. He is a great fighter but way too cocky for my liking.

yeah matt said he wasnt pointing at gsp. but it sure as hell looked like he did to me. and gsp was just saying that he wasnt impressed. so what, neither was i. i thought we were going to see another peen victory over hughes. then hughes pulled it out. whether or not bj was hurt doesnt matter. its not like he was dominating bj the whole fight. so gsp let him know. i think matt was more pissed that someone would talk to him like that. he can dish it out but he cant take it. he is like the school bully.

All Matt Hughes needs a an attitude adjustment and I think GSP will provide that to him on Saturday...I think we're going to see a different side of GSP on Saturday...

Anyone who has been King-of-the-Hill as long as Hughes has is going to seem like a prick no matter what he says or does. Hughes vs GSP: two very good fighters, one is a genuinely good guy, and the other has an inflated ego. Whipdy freaking do. Hughes is probably going to win this Saturday and GSP will have to wait a little longer.

FYI - The "calling out to St. Pierre" everyone keeps referring to, Hughes turns over after the fight and points to Dana White saying "I told You" - in reference to him telling Dana he would wail on Penn. Nothing to do with GSP. If you watch it you can tell but Joe Rogan said it in that PPV.

GSP will stomp Hughes. He said he wasn't impressed because Hughes wasn't impressive at all. He was getting ****ed up until Penn got injured. GSP in the 2nd.
