I actually think this is a bad move on the part of the ufc. Saunders isn't quite ready for swick, they should have given him a couple more cans to practice on before giving him a guy like swick.
Saunders def. has some potential in the future, and I think a loss to swick sets him back instead of building his skills.

What's up with the dude saying Saunders dismantled his last opponent yet he goes on to say he barely beat him? That's a little silly.
Look, like I said before, there are no top contenders or better fighters for him right now except Fitch, whom he trains with, so that's out of the question. This is a good fight for him. An up and comer who shows great potential. Why not?
The only other fighter that comes to mind would be Hazelett but according to this fight being signed, I'm going to assume his injury was worse than Saunders. I honestly think it's better that he got Saunders rather than Hazelett.

Huge opportunity for Saunders. It will be interesting while they're standing, because both guys have reach for days.
Swick should win a decision if he keeps it on the feet.

I think Swick takes this, then if he can beat Rumble or the winner of Condit/Kampmann I think he gets the next shot after Alves.

saunders is obviously the underdog but he still has a good chance to win.
this fight poses challanges for swick, he's fighting a very tall and big welterweight whos not afraid to strike.
if swick wins, props to him i don;t think this is a gimme. if saunders wins, he quickly becomes a serious contender. (of course he musst win quite a few fights after but still, he'll be considered a threat)

I said he dismantled his last opponent, Brandon Wolf (a can)! But he barely beat Dan Barera in both of his fights vs him!
I'm not complaining about the matchup, I think it'll be an entertaining fight! But I just dont like how people rate Saunders after one fight, where he only looked good because he kept kneeing a guy who was doing nothing but ducking his head between his arms
