i thought it was kinda weird how goldie just mentioned it like it was no big deal. i talked about that in a thread i posted "should bj have fought hughes one more time before dropping down?" it just didnt sound right. i was saying how something like that i could see dana having sean come out and then making a big announcement about his first title defence, and then bringing out bj. i couldnt understand how they would just let goldie make a nonchalant announcement about something thats a pretty big deal. guess we will just have to wait til the smke clears and see what happens. it doesnt sound like bj has plans of moving down yet. i just think he should settle things with hughes once and for all before making a move like that.

If he's strong enough to beat Hughes I think he's strong enough to beat Sherk. I think Sherk is pretty much a lesser version of Hughes so I dont think BJ should have much of a problem with him.

Didn't Penn say he wanted to take the title from Hughes, then move to lightweight and take that one and maybe even move up to middleweight to take that one also?

if...gsp...wins...than....gsp..will...fight...dieg o...for..the...title...and...Hughes...will....figh
Don't forget the winner has to fight Serra and then most likely Diego. Nothing is for certain, I'm sure Diego will have another fight before his shot and if he happens to lose that one then he wouldn't be next in line would he. Anyways, I think it will go like this.....
Diego-Penn (not sure who would win.)

And yes I think Diego has a shot at beating GSP and Hughes. Nobody is unbeatable and Diego hasn't dissapointed me yet.

How is he not strong enough??? He was putting up a great fight against Hughes and I doubt that Sherk is THAT much stronger than Hughes.

I happy that thier might be a Hughes vs. Penn 3!

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

Too bad, it would make all the sense in the world for BJ to move down to 155. Sure he can beat any welterweight not named Georges St. Pierre, but at 155 he would dominate. He would own Sherk. Also he could become a 2 division champion like "The Natural".
