It's an ugly debate.

Think about it. Loiseau's last two fights were horrible. He seriously didn't do anything, especially in his fight with Swick. He didn't throw or anything!

UFC lets him go... big deal. However, since Loiseau "used to be" amazing to watch, everyone is upset. Look at how quick all you guys wrote off other guys who slipped up... Shamrock, Tanner, now Franklin.... They were good in their day too, and now they fell off a little bit and everybody acts like they suck. Why is Loiseau still looked at as a god? Two bad fights in a row.

Next we have BJ Penn.... Penn lost twice in a row... why is he still there? Because his fights were still exciting. Loiseau's consecutive losses, not exciting.

I like Loiseau, but I understand why he got let go. As for the other end of the argument, I could name 30 guys that should have gone before Loiseau, yes... but you gotta admit, it's not THAT suprising if you saw his last couple fights.

sherdog has a little shameless behaviour in the past
I honestly think the UFC did the right think. His last to fights were simply pathetic! We all know that he trains with GSP, however, they should not be used the in the same sentence. I think the main problem is that he isn't all round like GSP and his striking is only half-assed. I think this could be a good opportunity to sit down with himself and take this time to reconfigure what kind of fighter he really is because that side kick can only go so far.

I don't care what anyone says. He went five rounds with franklin and franklin could not finish him. Noi matter what he tried he couldn't get the job done. I think that says a lot about him. Same thing with swick. He couldn't finish him either. He is tough and he is good for the division.

I agree with you Moldy. There are plenty other fighters who don't do half as well as David. Shouldn't have dropped him. I think he will be back someday tho. I for one am not Canadian but I love the a few Canadian fighters. GSP, Hominick, David: they all bring it on.

crow's a fighter that i love too see on any card. But at the same time he had his shot at the title and against a contender after that and failed at both. I dont know to many guys that put on two piss poor preformaces in a row and get to stay in the ufc. Id rather them take the crows fight pay plus allot and get someone good in the lhw/hw or lw division.
