The last time I was this "meh" about a bout was an UFN sometime last year.
I'd be more specific, but I just remember checking the boards and going "Huh. There was a fight this past weekend? Hmmmm.."
There have been cards that have had little / no hype. There are cards that are overshadowed.
This card... well, if I didn't have a desk job, I wouldn't even know there was one occurring. And I'm still not sure I'll remember in time for the weekend.
Im actually the same way and despite there being some intriguing match ups in Jardine/Rampage and Gonzaga/Carwin I dont expect either to be a great fight. There has also been very little debate on these matchups on the board or really any promotion of the card done by the UFC. UFC 96 forgettable.
The next 3 cards are so stacked that I don't really care about this one. That coupled with the fact that we are getting 2 FW tournaments this month for people that have HDnet. :thumb02:
I'm in ATL and UFC has been advertising this card like crazy. i've seen commercials on MTV, CNBC, BET, Telemundo and all over the radio. So it's kinda hard to overlook it but personally i'm only interested in Rampage/Jardine.
Probably the worst UFC card in a while. Honestly, what were they thinking with this card? It's the most terrible main card I have ever seen...ever.
If Pete Sell, Matt Brown, Matt Hamill, Gray Maynard, an unproven heavyweight, a heavyweight that gasses after one round, an inconsistent lightheavyweight in the main event, along with QJ are all on the main card and these are your biggest attractions for 45 ******* DOLLARS....there should have seriously been some reconsideration because honestly you have to be a fool to pay 45 dollars for this crap.
I'll watch it online.
