Damn, Tanner looks like he's been to hell and back. Really hope he starts training again. Be nice to see him and his nasty elbows back in the UFC.

tanner would get murdered. he's needs to be able to beat silva in an aspect of the game to give him a chance. His standup isnt even close and anderson has a blackbelt in bjj which is just as good as evan tanner's grappling video lessons he originally learned from. But thats not to put tanner out because he has good enough takedowns in my opinion to take silva down eventually and good enough standup not to get knocked out in the first minute or two if he fights defensively. If tanner gets top position he can rain down those punches and elbows. His ground and pound is the one weapon he has against silva, silva may not have ever faced anyone with as good of gnp as tanner but hes fought guys who are better on the ground and survived.

Awesome find. Chute Boxe is probably the one place I would choose If I had the choice. Hopefully he can get his conditioning and mind back into focus. Sounds like it's been rought for him lately. Hope we get to see him in the near future.

Good luck to Evan I think hell need it. He defanitly needs to fight some lesser opentents before he fights silva. If he takes a lot away from shoot box he might have a chance, he is tough as nails.

A Wanderlei Silva interview revealed that Chute Boxe Acadamy goes through a process in considering ANY future issues that may arise from taking on fighters who want to train at their facility.

But I don't think it's necessary for him to train at Chute Boxe to defeat Silva as that could be done by making adjustments to his current training and brining in quality sparring needed to prepare him properly.

It would be very good for tanner to go train at chute box but hes gotta get in shape before he goes there. And i dont see why they are thinking he will fight silva....hes gonna need a good few fights before he gets a title shot again.

They want him to fight Silva and win for one reason. Chute Boxe looks at Silva as a backstabber. He trained with them for a long time then went to BTT(which is their long time rival).
