evan tanner talks return, fighting silva, and chute boxe

i posted a thread right after the silva/franklin fight saying that tanner would be a great guy to bring back to challenge silva. the reason i thikn this is because...
1. he has a pretty solid ground game, and the general consensus has been thats what it will take to defeat the champ.
2. he spent time with chute boxe, and imo rudimar would be more than happy to train evan to fight silva.

im not saying that evan will win for sure, or that by training with chute boxe will gaurentee a win for evan. i do however believe that if evan moved to brazil and concentrated on muay thai and getting himself together physically and mentally he could be a force in the mw div again. if chute boxe can teach him how to strike like them, he could be very dangerous. id like to see anderson stay champ for awhile. but id also like to see some guys give him a run for his money. good luck evan, i hope things work out.

Sweet. Can't wait to see him in action again. He's a tough dude and seems like a cool guy.

I don't know! Evan did have trouble striking with Rich Franklin and lost his title in the process! Anderson Silva is a much better striker then Rich! I really can't see Tanner holding his own in this match!

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam
