The guys mentioned above have a combined UFC record of 9W-27L-1D, a 1 in 4 win ratio. And that's only because there's a semi-legit fighter like Uno in there. Excluding him, it's 6-24-0, with a 1 in 5 win ratio. Okami is about the only successful import so far, and he's a phenomenal exception. IMO A lot of these guys get hyped up from beating cans in Japan with < 50% and sometimes 0% win rates, bagging an occasional submission against a top fighter.

The only legit wins on Sexyama's 11 fight roster are Manhoef (who was extremely one-dimensional and green on the ground and got submitted), and Denis Kang (who has already lost his UFC debut to Belcher). The rest are worse than cans. Flame on... this forum has such a pro-japan bias sometimes, against all tangible results. Granted there are good japanese fighters and some of the best never make it to the UFC, but sometimes the love borders on delusion, when compared with the reality of the UFC records above.
You said pretty much what I have been thinking ever since all this Sexyama shit started. If he doesn't live up to the hype I will not be surprised.
