I've never seen Rampage use so many kicks in a fight in my life. He has excellent boxing, clinch work, and TDD. That's more than enough tools for me.

Telling Rampage that he needs to develop more tools would be like telling Chuck in his prime that he needs to do the same.

Joe Rogan is cool but can't blame Jackson he was breaking down his game too much but itis mixed martial arts no one is telling him to use Jitsu. He can just use boxing and karate if he likes. That is what is so great about this sport.

It was Ariel Helwani that said it to Rampage.

I agree with Rampage that Rogan can be biased towards BJJ guys. Also he was throwing kicks in that fight so I don't get the whole he was just boxing thing. Heck he even took Jardine down when was the last time Rampage did that the Lindland fight?

I love Rampage, but he could definetly expand his game. He was still eating leg kicks and doing nothing about it. I found it weird that Jardine stopped using them as much, because he could have done just as well as Forest with them. His takedowns were great against Jardine, it's just weird that such a big, strong guy can do so little while on top. Maybe he uses them to catch his breathe, but with the power he has, you think he would try to GnP more. His style is still working, but with fighters like Chuck and Hughes proving to be getting stale, I can only hope that Rampage won't let that happen to himself.

Please stop saying that Rampage has excellent boxing. He has excellent hands, but his head movement and foot work isnt that great.

Theirs more to boxing then just standing in the pocket and throwing combinations.

Rogan was a standup fighter before he was a BJJ guy.
I think he makes some good points, actually. It's not like he was saying Rampage is a bum, just that he could stand to add a few elements to his arsenal.
I for one, wouldn't mind seeing that. And I am a fan.

not sure if anyone noticed but when rampage got that first takedown on jardine rogan was all like "YESSS!!!" haha, i thought that was hilarious considering rashad is jardines buddy and was sitting next to rogan.

someone once asked me when we talk about PrideFC why we never put
"the" in front of it, i asked him, "do you put the word 'the' in front of God?"

I don't see anyone picking Rampage to win by submission either.

I've never seen Rampage throw a head kick. Can he even get his leg that high? I've seen him throw some violent knees. When I think of Jackson, I think of powerful punches, knees, and slams.

I think it's probably too late in the game for Page to use bjj outside of defending against it. I think he should check kicks more, throw some more kicks and use more wrestling. Page is probably too top heavy, set in his ways, and getting older to start throwing head kicks and going for gogoplatas.
