I like Machida more, I also enjoy his style, it's different. Where as Maia is another guy who likes to play BJJ on the ground, very good BJJ, but BJJ nonetheless.

I prefer ground fighting more then standup.....but when i watch a technical striker like Anderson or Machida, it really just blows my mind away, so it'd have to be Machida , even though watching Maia is a real pleasure

For me, definitely Maia. Not only do I prefer watching him fight. I like his personality more as well.

Maia's BJJ is (as the pre-pubescent posers would say...) "sick" lol.

If all of Machida's fights had been like his last against Silva, then I might have voted differently, but Machida will have a legacy of snoozefests in the UFC until he has enough fights to redeem himself. Granted, his elusive style is effective but it is boring without being offensive in any way as he has shown in the majority of his fights. I think he could be exciting to watch in the UFC based on his last fight. I hope he continues that approach.
