Yeah. I want The Truth to win the fight tonight, but I will admit that Mir looked awesome.

Got that off of MMA Weekly. Go Mir!

It doesn't really matter, but in a way it does...If that makes sense. It's just that most of us were worried when we saw Frank Mir at UFC 61 in such horrible shape and getting beat by Pe De Pano and having one of the most boring fights ever against Dan Christison at UFC 61. It's just good to see the "old" Frank Mir back in shape and hope his cardio is good for this match.

Damn! This fight just got really really interesting. I was checking out Frankmir.com after reading this thread last night and came across this line "About Frank Mir:"

"Frank sustained a massive leg injury. In fact, most people would have a tough time walking properly, perhaps died, or even lost a limb...."

I am pulling for Vera but def. see the comparison tween Mir and Penn. I bet Vera has got a great ground game but I don't even need to see his BJJ to know that Frank Mir can submit him. If old Mir is back, he can submit anyone.

Now that the fat is gone, anyone know why Mir thinks he needs that much muscle mass??? No wonder he gasses.

Mir doese look like he is in great shape. If he improved on his striking and cardio, he would be a beast.

This is a must win for Vera too, because if he wins he probably will get a title shot sometime in 07'.

Stop comparing Mir to BJ. BJ is a top 10 all time fighter, and Mir is a guy who never lived up to his potential. Mir has to prove himself, BJ on the other hand already has.
