Funny pics. Yea, Monson knows what he is doing...he's been fighting taller guys forever. He's 5'9" and a HW so every opponent he has is gonna have a pretty definitive reach advantage. Never stopped him from winning 16 in a row or whatever it is.

Very good point man. Once again my eyes have been opened Once you think about it, you are very right. The guy is shorter than everyone else so the reach advantage will be nothing new. Well time for the countdown on spike.

Haha, I think he got it from the Countdown to UFC 65: Bad Intentions show that they're airing on SpikeTV today. I saw that on TV and was laughing my ass off.

! Sorry for the double post but I found another hilarious Tim Sylvia/Jeff Monson picture.

Whoever made that picture is a God! ! It'd be hilarious if Tim brought that out to the octagon with him!

Haha very awesome

Monson pushing cars and shit for his workout. I really think he's gonna take Sylvia down.

It's so hard to tell for me. I'd like to say Monson will be able to take Sylvia down because he is so powerful and well-versed in wrestling BUT on the other hand Sylvia has never been taken down, he has an excellent sprawl, AND he gets to practice it all day long with Matt Hughes, who is also a short, strong wrestler. Not as strong as Monson, but it is still good practice. This fight could honestly go either way. If it stays standing, Tim's gonna get the win, if it goes to the ground, Monson all the way. Each have a 50/50 chance of winning. That's why I didn't bet on this fight...or did I? I don't remember but I know I would never bet real money on this fight.

Exactly. I don't know what's going to happen...so I could bet on this one either.
